$70K of Meth, $38K of Cocaine Seized in Local Drug Bust: Officials
Officials used wiretaps after evidence surfaced that residents were trafficking drugs into the region from Columbia.

More than 30 people were arrested by Montgomery County law enforcement officials in connection with a drug trafficking ring that has ties to Columbia, the district attorney announced Wednesday.
The year-long investigation into the drug rings, called “Operation Snow and Ice Removal,” involved participation from law enforcement in Bucks County, Delaware County, Philadelphia and Pennsylvania state police, the District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said in a statement.
According to Ferman, officials used wiretaps after evidence surfaced that several Montgomery County residents were trafficking heroin, cocaine and crystal meth into the region in separate operations.
