Business is Blooming as Kremp Florist Gears up for U.S. Open Family-Owned Biz Hard at Work on 750 Flower Arrangements for Golfing Event

While most area locals are dreaming about the golfing greats who will be descending upon the Philadelphia Region when the 113th U.S. comes to the Merion Golf Club on June 10, one local company is focused on the event’s flowers.

Family-owned Kremp Florist, based in Willow Grove, has been awarded a contract to create 750 flower arrangements for the U.S. Open, and is hard at work preparing for a weekend delivery to the golf event site.

Over the past several days, Kremp’s floral design team of 10 has been assembled to create 750 arrangements consisting of orchids, succulents, feather willows and greens. “The pace here has been busy, but the mood is very happy,” said company president Scott Kremp. “Kremp Florist is delighted to have been selected for such a high visibility event.”
