TOWN TAKEOVER BY THE PHILADELPHIA SOUL IN HATBORO
Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce President Joseph J. Tryon, Jr, is pleased to announce that the Philadelphia Soul will hold a "Town Takeover" of Hatboro on Saturday, June 23rd, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Miller Meadow, at the corner of York Road & Horsham Road. This free family event will feature a "run-through" practice.
Attendees will be able to purchase tickets for a Philadelphia Soul 4-Game Fund Raiser, and $10 from the price of each ticket will be donated to the Hatboro Police Department. The Big Chill Ice Cream Truck will be at the event offering ice cream, soda, soft pretzels and snacks. A percentage of their sales will be donated to the Hatboro Police Department. Raffle item proceeds will be donated to the Hatboro Police as well.

The Town Takeover is presented by Susquehanna Bank and hosted by the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce. In addition to Soul players and coaches, there will be appearances by the Soul mascot "SoulMan" and the Soulmates dance team, as well as Soul ownership and front office staff. After the practice, fans will be able to meet Soul players and Soulmates who will be signing autographs.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber, located at 220 S. York Road, hosts special and annual events to support area businesses, both large and small, including the Halloween Stroll, Holiday Parade and Moonlight Memories Car Show. The show is now in its 20th year, and draws more than 50,000 visitors to Hatboro each July.
