And speaking of holiday events, I’d like to invite you to stop in to see me and other local illustrators as we step out from behind our drawing tables for the first annual Illustrators’ Night Out, this Friday, November 4, in Doylestown.  I’ll have my funny holiday greeting cards for sale, and we will also exhibit original illustrations from children’s books, magazines and fabrics.  Some of the other illustrators attending will be the wonderful James Bennett, who has drawn for Sports Illustrated and Mad magazine (see his work at http://www.jamesbennettart.com/), and delightful children’s book illustrators Lee Harper (http://www.leeharperart.com/) and Ponder Goembel (http://pondergoembel.com/) .  The show is free, and all the illustrators will be there if you’d like to purchase one-of-a-kind holiday cards, signed copies of their children’s books, or original art.  It’s from 4-8 PM at the James-Lorah House, across from the courthouse in Doylestown.  For more info & to see the illustrators attending, go to www.buckscountyillustrators.webs.com .
