Dr. Jim will lead a discussion about the core aspects of family communication, which are particularly compromised when a family memberhas ADHD. His presentation will focus on taking stock of current parenting habits; working together; adapting to special situations; and being as clear and explicit as possible with one another. Techniques for enhancing closeness and appropriate hierarchy in the family will be discussed. Dr. Karustis(www.Karustis.com) is a nationally recognized expert and author on ADHD and the
family, a practicing psychologist, and frequent speaker at CHADD conferences.
