Longest Night Service

“Longest Night” Service

To help those who are approaching Christmas with those feelings of anguish and despair that result from the recent loss of a loved one, the insecurity of unemployment, the uncertainty of poor health, the pain of loneliness, the
Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church will conduct a special, informal worship service. It will include: sharing and hearing prayers, scripture readings, and music, all intended to give assurance that we need not be alone, nor are we. The service will be held in the church parlor on Tuesday, December 20, 7:30 pm.

In announcing this new service, Rev. David  Preisendanz, Pastor, said: “We must minister to those for whom this season will not be joyous.”
