Leon Tolchinsky (Anthony Cipollo) is ecstatic. He’s landed a terrific teaching job in an idyllic Russian Hamlet. He encounters a shepherd named Snetsky (Joe Forsstrom) who is not very bright. Leon’s new employer is Dr. Zubritsky (Clint Cleaver) and his wife Lenya Zubritsky (Joan Kerber). Leon falls head over heels in love with their daughter Sophia (Jenny Sullens). Everyone in the town is, well, not very smart. Leon discovers that there is a curse on the town. A curse of stupidity. If he can’t educate her in 24 hours, he will fall victim to the curse as well. Rounding out the cast are: Slovitch (Tim Schumann), Mishkin (Becca Seeley), Yenchna (Jeanne Gheen) and Gregor Yousekevitch).
