Briar Bush is inviting visitors to a new discussion series called “Join the Conversation.”  Special guest speakers will guide a topic while attendees increase their knowledge and awareness of timely and important issues.  We have suggested books to pique your interest, but reading is not required.

Insects – we love them, we hate them, they are the most numerous creatures on earth but we know so little about them. Join guest speaker Karen Verdermae from The Academy of Natural Sciences for an intimate look inside the amazing lives of insects. We suggest reading Sex on Six Legs by Marlene Zuk or The Making of a Tropical Disease by Randall M. Packard.
