Moday evening June 17th was a big night for Michael Balot. Before a crowd of over 100 family members, friends, fellow scouts and staff members he was elevated to the rank of Eagle Scout. Michael has previously received the Arrow of Light and the Parvuli Dei and Ad Altari Dei Religious Awards. He has served as Den Chief and Troop Guide with Troop 3; Treasurer and Vice-President for Venture Crew 380, Second Alarmers Rescue Squad and Patrol Leader for National Youth Leadership Training. His camping ex[periences have been at Camp Daniel Boone, NC; Mount Norris Scout Reservation, VT as well as Olympia Scope, an exchange program with Canadian Scouts
Michael keeps himself very busy with a wide variety of activities and interests. He is a junior at Upper Mkoreland High School where he is amember of the National Honor Society. He is a percussionist with the Marching Unit, Concert Band and Jazz Band. He is also a member of the Key Club, Tennis Team, Bowling Team, Chess Club and debate Club. He has received the Dr. Susan S. Bitner Award form Litlerature and the President's Education Award 2007/2010.
Michael js also a PA State Certified Emergency Medical Technocian (EMT). He volunteers with the Warminster Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Michael is a member of St. John Bosco RC Church where he is an Alter Server.
