Montgomery County Killer Died From Drug Overdose: DA

According to toxicology testing, the coroner determined Bradley Stone killed himself by overdosing on Trazodone, Risperidone and mCPP.

Bradley Stone, the man behind a killing spree last week in Montgomery County, died from a lethal combination of three drugs, the coroner said Tuesday.

Stone’s body was found more than 24 hours after he killed his ex-wife and five of her relatives in three locations in Montgomery County. According to toxicology testing, the coroner determined Stone killed himself by overdosing on Trazodone, Risperidone and mCPP.

Authorities say two knives, a machete and an axe were found near his body, along with two medicine bottles and an energy drink container with powder around the lip.

The autopsy revealed a stab wound to the upper thigh as well three superficial cut wounds in the leg and hip area, according to information from Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.

Authorities had initially believed Stone died from self-inflicted stab wounds, but stated the official cause of death would be determined by the coroner.

Stone’s body was found in a wooded area in New Hanover Township, about a half mile from Stone’s home in Pennsburg. The coroner has said he believes Stone had been dead for at least 12 hours before his body was found, according to the Intelligencer.

Authorities say Stone shot his ex-wife, Nicole Hill Stone, in the early morning hours Monday at her residence in Lower Salford Township.

Stone is also suspected of killing Hill Stone’s mother, Joanne Hill, and grandmother, Patricia Hill, both of Lansdale, as well as her sister, Patricia Flick, her sister’s husband, Aaron, and their 14-year-old daughter, Nina. The Flick’s 17-year-old son, Anthony, is recovering from cutting wounds inflicted by Stone.
