News Next Door: Assault at Sunoco
An employee was hit in the face after it was discovered that a customer tried to pass off a fake $100.

An employee at the Valley Sunoco in Huntingdon Valley was assaulted by an unidentified male patron Wednesday afternoon after another store employee told the man that the $100 bill he'd used to pay was counterfeit.
The argument started when the customer asked for his $100 bill back, but the employees refused to comply. Once the bill is in the gas station's possession, legally they cannot return it to the customer. Authorities have taken custody of the counterfeit bill and are searching for multiple suspects.
