Suspects pretending to be a Sheriff’s Deputy have been calling Bucks County residents and telling them to meet in a parking lot to pay money or they will be arrested, according to a Sheriff’s Office press release.
The Sheriff’s Office has received several reports from residents that say callers have demanded they come to a shopping center parking lot, according to the release.
Bucks County Sheriff Edward Donnelly says that the police would never call to ask money, nor would they ever ask to meet in a shopping center parking lot.
