Pro-Palestinian Protester Harassed, Signs Stolen In Montco Incident
The man, who stopped his car in the middle of the highway, was charged with ethnic intimidation.

UPPER MERION, PA — A Pro-Palestinian protester was demonstrating on the roadside in Montgomery County was confronted by a man who then stole her signs, police said.
The incident occurred on July 3 at around 11:42 a.m. at the intersection of Route 202 and Henderson Road.
The driver passing by, Ilya Zaslavskiy, stopped his vehicle in the middle of the roadway and "accosted" the protester, who was a woman, police said.

After intimidating her, he then stole her signs, according to authorities.
Police were able to identify Zaslavskiy on July 5 and they issued a warrant. He was captured by an Upper Merion officer on patrol who recognized him on July 12.

He was charged with ethnic intimidation, harassment, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, and related counts.
Zaslavskiy was later released after posting $10,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
