Section of Davisville Road Closed for Repairs Tuesday and Wednesday

By James Boyle Travel on York Road between Home and Byberry roads will also be restricted on Thursday and Friday.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that two state roadways will be repaired and resurfaced in Montgomery County this week.

The work schedule is:

· Tuesday-Wednesday (Sept. 16-17) – Davisville Road will be closed and detoured between Terwood Road and Byberry Road in Upper Moreland Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for milling and paving. Davisville Road through traffic will be detouredover Terwood Road, Route 263 (York Road) and Byberry Road; and

· Thursday and Friday (Sept. 18-19) – Route 263 (Old York Road) will be restricted between Home Road and Byberry Road in Hatboro Borough from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for milling and paving.

The roadway improvement will be completed by PennDOT Montgomery County maintenance employees.
