SEPTA Service From Warminster Resumes After Wire Problems
Service was suspended Thursday in both directions from Warminster to Glenside Station.

SEPTA service on the Warminster Line resumed shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday after downed wires disabled the line in both directions for the bulk of the day.
Service was suspended in both directions from Warminster to Glenside Station throughout the morning and into the afternoon. About 500 people were stranded aboard the SEPTA train Thursday morning as the Warminster Line became disabled due to overhead wire problems.
Wires came down on a train going from Warminster into Philadelphia near the Roslyn Station around 8:15 a.m., SEPTA officials said.

A SEPTA spokesperson told The Intelligencer that about 500 people were trapped inside the train for 90 minutes once the train became disabled.
Shuttle bus service was in effect between Warminster and Glenside Stations due to the wire problems.
