Upper Moreland High School Girls Tennis Preview
The Lady Bears look to improve from their overall record from a year ago.

After recording just one win last season, the Upper Moreland High School girls tennis team is looking to improve in a the win column.
Returning some experienced players will be a huge help. The level of play is tough in league play, but head coach Angela McClenton wants to see improvement.
“My hope is to take a few matches where our girls are even with the other teams,” said McClenton.

“The key will be to 'dig' out matches where we are close and/or even on skill level,” said McClenton.
Looking past wins or losses, Upper Moreland wants to improve, no matter what the result may be at the end of the match.
“The biggest challenge [this year] is to get the girls to win matches in which they have a chance to win,” said McClenton. We [want our girls] to be on a similar skill level with their opponents.”
Improvement comes first with the Lady Bears, which may lead to wins.
