Autopsy Results Revealed In Upper Southampton Shooting: Bucks Coroner
One victim was shot multiple times and another died of wounds to the torso and right thigh, Coroner Meredith Buck's findings indicate.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Autopsy results of the two men killed in a shooting outside a township bar late Friday have revealed multiple gunshot wounds in one of the victims, the Bucks County coroner concluded.
Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck announced Tuesday the cause and manner of death of the two people killed during an altercation in the parking lot of the Steam Pub on Second Street Pike.
The results of the autopsies, conducted Sunday, are as follows:

- Steven A. Panebianco, 30, Bensalem Township —Gunshot wounds to the torso and right thigh.
- Raymond A. Farrell IV, 28, of Philadelphia —Multiple Gunshot Wounds
Both were ruled homicides by Buck. She noted that homicides as a manner of death refer to death at the hands of another.
Detective James Schirmer told Patch Monday that the shooter —who has not been identified —may have acted in self-defense according to preliminary evidence from surveillance video police reviewed from two businesses near the Steam Pub on 606 Second Street Pike in Southampton.

Schirmer said that the late Friday night altercation took place in the parking lot and that police believe possibly five or six bullets were fired. He said no decision on criminal charges is expected until later this week.
Police have not released the name or age of the man who fired the shots. Schirmer said the man remained on the scene until police arrived. Police have also not released the name of a 24-year-old man who was injured.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, the Upper Southampton Police Department, and the Bucks County Coroner’s Office.
