2 Killed, 1 Hurt In Shooting Outside An Upper Southampton Bar: DA

The shooter in the Friday night incident has been identified and is cooperating with the investigation by Bucks County detectives and police

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —Two people have been killed and one injured in a shooting overnight late Friday night outside a Second Street Pike bar, according to the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office.

Detectives with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office and the Upper Southampton Police Department are investigating the shooting.

At 11:31 p.m. Friday, Bucks County 911 received numerous calls reporting that several people were shot in the parking lot of the Steam Pub, 606 Second Street Pike, Southampton.

One of the 911 callers reported that he was the shooter and remained on the scene until police arrived.

Upper Southampton Township Police Department and EMS arrived on scene and confirmed two deceased males, ages 28 and 30, in the parking lot who suffered gunshot wounds.

While on scene, police received information that a third subject, a 24-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A firearm was recovered from the scene.

Detectives are in the process of reviewing and obtaining surveillance video.

The shooter has been identified and is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests are being made today and this investigation remains active.

Patch was at the site Saturday morning. The parking lot was empty and there were no signs of the shooting or any police presence.

A sign posted on the front door of the Steam Pub said it would be closed Saturday and apologized for the inconvenience.

The Alley Cats salon, which operates right below the Steam Pub, opened at 7 a.m. and was busy with customers when Patch was there around 9 a.m.

“Everything is safe. We’ve never had any issues before,” owner Tetiana Symoronyk said. “We love the Steam Pub.”

Members of the Upper Southampton & Warminster Facebook page were posting about shots being heard.

One resident reported seeing a large group of police officers outside the bar around 1:10 a.m. Saturday.
