Bryn Athyn Resident Dies In Idaho Plane Crash

A Bryn Athyn man who lived part time in Wyoming was killed when his small plane crashed Monday afternoon along the state’s border with Idaho.

Reade Genzlinger, 61, died after a small plane he owned crashed around 4:30 p.m. Monday in Bonneville County, just a few miles from the Alpine Airport in Alpine, Wyo., according to an ABC News affiliate.

A teen girl from North Carolina also died in the crash, but her name has not been released, the Associated Press reported.

The pair was on a recreational flight in a vintage Yak 52 Russian trainer aircraft that Genzlinger owned when it went down along the Idaho-Wyoming border, the ABC News affiliate in Jackson, Wyo. said.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
