CENTENNIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT ANNOUNCES A WEEK OF ACTIVITIES IN RECOGNITION OF AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK

A Planetarium Show, Parent Visits, Book Fairs, Student Recognition Events, A Parent Forum and More begin Nov. 17

WARMINSTER —The spotlight shines on Centennial School District schools and the community is invited to participate during the National Education Association’s (NEA) 93rd annual American Education Week, which takes place Nov. 17—21. District schools have organized five days of informative and engaging events. NEA is one of the original sponsors of American Education Week, which was established in 1921 to inform the public of the accomplishments and needs of public schools.

“American Education Week promote parent and family involvement in education. Each interaction involving a parent, student and the school creates a stronger bond and facilitates better understanding of the classroom experience,” emphasized District Superintendent Joyce Mundy.
