Come learn more about the Lenape Language.
CNC will be hosting a Lenape Language Seminar, covering some of the language used in a working Lenape Village. The seminar will be taught by former Delaware Chief Curtis Zunigha and will cover the Southern Unami dialect. The fee for the program will include a conversational language book, lunch, snacks and supplies. The contents of the seminar can be used by teachers in the classroom, scouts earning their Indian Lore badge, as well as anyone just interested in learning the Lenape language. We'll finish the day with some Lenape bingo and a round dance.
