Centennial Employee Made $20K In Illegal Tool Purchases: PD

WARMINSTER TOWNSHIP, PA — A Centennial School District has been charged after making $20,000 in unauthorized tool purchases since last August, police said.

Warminster Police said they were called to a school district building for a report of a theft.

Police said school officials said the 41-year-old unnamed employee had made unauthorized purchases totaling $20,000 since August 2025.

The Director of Operations located receipts from Home Depot and discovered repeat tool purchases, police said.

Some of the tools were not located, and it was found that the employee had sold them on Facebook Marketplace to help him pay his everyday expenses, police said.

The man turned himself in, was processed, and arraigned before Judge Christopher O'Neill.

Bail was set at $30,000 unsecured. The man was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking, Receiving Stolen Property, and Access Device Fraud.

The crime took place in March but was reported in the Warminster Township Police Department's blotter of criminal incidents for March released late last week.
