Fire Victim Identified In Upper Southampton Township: Coroner

Kaye L. Lewis, 60, died in a fire at her Wendy Road home​ Friday, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said. The cause is being investigated.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The victim in a fatal house fire over the weekend has been identified.

Kaye L. Lewis, 60, was found dead in the fire at her Wendy Road home just before midnight Friday, Bucks County Coroner Meredith J. Buck announced.

The exact cause and manner of Lewis' death are being investigated by the Bucks County Coroner's Office., Buck said.

The fire also killed several pets.

The Southampton Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched to the home at 462 Wendy Road and encountered "a well-advanced fire" on the first and second floors, fire officials stated.

The fire company was among numerous responders to the fire.

They included: Feasterville Fire Company, Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Company, Warminster Fire Department, Hartsville Fire Company, Trevose Fire Company Station 4/84, Lower Southampton Fire Department No.1, Bryn Athyn Fire Company, Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad, and the Upper Southampton Township Police Department.
