Man 'Selling Windows' Barges Into Bucks Co. Home: Police
The man said he was selling windows. But when the teen wouldn't let him in, he came in anyway and wouldn't leave, police say.

Police in Bucks County are warning residents after a man who said he was selling replacement windows for an unidentified company entered a local home after a teen resident there repeatedly asked him to leave.
The incident happened Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. along the 1200 block of Tulip Road in Warminster.
Police said the 15-year-old resident said a man who appeared to be between 40 and 50 years old knocked on the door and said he was selling windows. He was not wearing any identification, and the door had a "no solicitation" placard on the front door, police said.

The teen, who was home alone, told the man to leave. The man then entered through the front door, and began to inspect windows inside the home, police said. The teen continued to tell the man to leave for several minutes, according to police, but the man refused and continued "inspecting" windows inside of the home, information from police said.
Eventually, the man left the home and got into a dark-colored SUV. A make or model was not provided.

The man is described as being white and between 40-50 years old with a medium build. He was wearing a red short-sleeve polo shirt and khaki pants.
Anyone with information as to the identity of this suspect or company is asked to contact the Warminster Police at (215) 672-1000. Callers may remain anonymous.
Police remind residents to ask all solicitors to see their ID cards. Residents should contact the police for any solicitation violations/complaints, especially any solicitors that do not have a township-issued permit or ID card or behave in a suspicious manner.
