The credit card information of customers of more than 100 restaurants, including dozens in the Philadelphia area, may have been stolen.

A Bucks County-based company has announced more than 100 restaurants that use its software have been impacted by a data breach.
Signature Systems announced late last week that the credit card information of customers of more than 100 restaurants, including dozens in the Philadelphia area, may have been stolen.
The company explained that hackers installed malicious software to steal credit card details beginning in June. The systems were not secured until about a week ago, according to a CBS Philly report.
