SCORE Bucks County to Host Small Business Workshop Saturday

SCORE Bucks County will offer a four-hour sales and marketing workshop on June 13 in Warrington.

The workshop, “Successful Sales & Marketing Strategies/Tactics for Small Business,” will feature nearly a dozen sales and marketing experts. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Homewood Suites, 2650 Kelly Road, Warrington.

The workshop will include presentations and question and answer breakout sessions.

“The challenge of today’s business person is which of these marketing channels is appropriate for my business and which ones do I invest my money in?” Said Brown, who is one of the SCORE organizers of this event, which will be held at Homewood Suites in Warrington. “Most people today hear about this magic word called ‘social media,’ and they think it will solve all of their marketing needs - but it’s just one tool in this complex tool box.”

According to organizers, the workshop will cover everything from Websites, to Google and search engine optimization, social media options, print advertising, postcard mailing, email marketing, professional sales and more.

Speakers include:

• Pat Walsh, of The Walsh Group, will discus “Integrating Sales and Marketing for Small Business Strategy and Planning.”
• Professional Sales trainer Dan Caramanico of Caramanico Maguire Associates, will present “Professional Sales – Introduction and Role Playing.”
• SCORE Mentor and web developer John Biancamano, in his presentation, “Your Small Business Website,” will discuss the importance of having an effective Website for your small business and detail what should be included.
• Lance Bachmann of 1SEO.com will present “Using Google and SEO for Small Business.”
• Brandon Schaefer of the 90 Day Entrepreneur will present “Facebook for Small Business,” offering insight on what to do and not to do on the social media network.
• Brynne Tillman of the Social Sales Link will present “LinkedIn for Small Business.” Tillman, who is ranked as one of the top 10 LinkedIn training experts, will share how to use LinkedIn as a social media marketing tool.
• David Yunghans of Constant Contact will present “Email for Small Business.” He will discuss how to effectively use email and related services to achieve business success.
