Sex Assaults Not Reported At Southampton Assisted-Living Home: Report

Two former employees at Street Road facility charged for failing to notify Bucks County officials.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA —Two former administrators of The Landing of Southampton face neglect charges for failing to report sexual assaults at the assisted-living home, according to published reports.

Ashley Harker, The Landing's former general manager, and Joy Alfonsi, former director of health and wellness at the Street Road facility, were arraigned last week and released on bail, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Prosecutors stated the charges stem from the two not reporting the sexual assaults of three female dementia patients to Bucks County officials and the victims’ families, the newspaper reported.
