String Of Thefts From Vehicles In Upper Southampton: Police

In every case, police said, the vehicles were left unlocked and there were valuables inside.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police in Upper Southampton are reporting a string of thefts from vehicles over the weekend similar to another string of robberies in nearby Lower Southampton.

Upper Southampton Township Police investigated several theft-from-vehicle reports in the Militia Hill neighborhood, off of Buck Road. In each case, police say, the victims' vehicles were left unlocked and valuables had been left inside.

Police have added extra patrols in the area and ask members of the public to help by always locking their vehicles and not leaving valuables inside.

In Lower Southampton, police were reporting a similar string of robberies from vehicles. There, the robbers targeted the Buck Road neighborhood between Street and County Line roads.
