2019 USC Boys soccer team
The 2019 USC boys soccer team look to be USC's next group of soccer state champions.
USC soccer has always been held to a high expectation. This past year with a less star-studded roster the boys still managed to make it to the playoffs only to lose in the first round. But do not worry, the 2019 class of boys soccer looks to be Coach Uwe Schneider’s best roster since the 2012 state championship roster. The team will be lead by Zach Ioli and Zach Shoemaker, two talented play makers in open field with a great deal of strength and speed. The team will also contain Ben Burlovic, a tall striker with the ability to get around players. Dylan Mira and Connor Ryan will look to control the midfield, while Parth Shankar controls the back line. The group will also add on many players as they progress, but this team seems like a lock for deep runs in the playoffs. Most coaches around the WPIAL seem to agree, but teams from Peters Township and Seneca Valley will not sit back and let USC take the the gold. These predictions might seem early and far-fetched, but the USC Panthers will most likely be the best soccer team in the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Players on this team are not new to the spotlight. Zach Shoemaker and Dylan Mira have both won state cups for their respective clubs, and look to use that experience on their journey to the cup. This is still a long way, but mark my words the USC team will be dangerous and very exciting to watch in the upcoming years.
