Boyce Middle School Students Raise Money for MDA

A charity basketball tournament brought in $1,500 to help a student with her campaign to raise money for MDA.

Boyce Middle School students raised money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Pittsburgh during their annual β€œMarch Madness” basketball fundraiser.

The charity tournament brought in $1,500 to help student Rachel Tudi with her campaign to raise money for MDA.

Matthew Dudley, a teacher who works with Rachel, said the school has rallied around her since she had hip surgery in January. The donations from the tournament will be funneled to her β€œRachel’s Rockstars” team with the Pittsburgh area MDA.
