A Moving and Unforgettable Moment at Iconic Fenway Park
Not a Dry Eye in the House As Boston Bombing Massacre Victim Jeff Bauman and Carlos Arredondo, The Man Who Helped to Save Him, Are United to Attend a Red Sox Game and Hurl First Pitches
If ever there were an inspiring, emotional moment: a beaming light generated from darkness, it was presented to the nation at iconic Fenway Park Tuesday evening, May 28, as Boston boming massacre victim Jeff Bauman and Carlos Arredondo, the man who brought him aid and comfort in the aftermath of the dastardly attack, united to attend the game and throw out first pitches (both of which were on the mark, incidentally!).
An atrocity brought these good men together and they now share an eternal bond forged out of pain. It was a joy to see these strong, courageous individuals together and exulting in the greatest sport in the land at one of the nation's finest and most historic ballparks. There surely was not a dry in the house nor in any home that viewed the moving scene.
May God watch over both of these good men in the years to come and may they always be uplifted by the presence of each other.
