Dick's Sporting Goods South Hills Village - A Locally-Based Company That is Outstanding in Every Way

The new, much larger Dick's Sporting Goods at South Hills Village is a delight in every respect.  This is an attractive, spacious facility with an appealing layout that is an enjoyable space in which to browse.  Dick's offers its own large, modern, clean rest rooms on the second floor, another plus.

The most outstanding feature, though, is the employees. It has been a long time since the staff of a store such as this "wowed" me in the manner that these individuals did.

The staff is welcoming, friendly, gracious, attentive, and helpful in every way without being obtrusive or pushy.  There is no difficulty securing assistance, given the large number of individuals that work on and walk through the sales floors.

My cashier was friendly and a delight with whom to chat about our shared passion for baseball while I was waiting for an overcharge issue to be resolved by another solicitous and kind associate.

When a customer is treated as if he or she is a store's only customer as I was, enduring loyalty is built, and this was not the first time that it happened at Dick's.  That is why my wife and I will be repeat customers and will tell friends and acquaintances that Dick's is a store unlike any other.  Anyone who believes that the era of customer service is over may dispel that notion through a visit to Dick's Sporting Goods: bravo!
