The Bible and the Christian faith continually tell us that God loves us—but does He? When you consider all the stress and turmoil that pervade the entire earth, and when you think of the struggles that each of us experiences with various aspects of our lives, it is easy to question the premise that God loves us. While there are no easy answers, we will examine in these two sessions how God’s love permeates all of our lives with love, in spite of the difficulties we may encounter. On October 2, we will concentrate on the way God expresses love in spite of terrible circumstances. On October 9, we will concentrate on God’s love through the often used, and misused, expression, “the will of God.” Chuck Vogel, leader.
