"Eat Healthy?" Today's Eater Responds, "Don't Make Me Laugh!"

One of the more amusing moments which occurs at each Pirates game at PNC Park is a pre-game scoreboard promotion, encouraging fans to "Eat Healthy", something which we are told is "easier than we think": apparently not.

This pitch (pun intended) occurs as we are stuffing our faces with buckets of chicken wings dripping in grease, nachos with some version of Cheez Wiz, hot dogs, soda, beer, cotton candy, and Cracker Jack.

There is but one concession stand on the first level of the park which purports to be devoted to healthful food.  It is never busy and I will be surprised if it is a lasting presence.

Eat healthy?  The majority of fans and the majority of the members of society are responding, "Don't make me laugh!  You will pry my fat, high fructose corn syrup, sugar, nitrites, and salt away from me over my dead body!"
