Getrude Matashe presentation

 


Getrude Matshe, a Zimbabwean inspirational speaker, African storyteller, poet, and author will speak on “The Power of One” on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 9:30 a.m.in the Room A-105 at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Rd., Bethel Park. Described as a vibrant bundle of African energy whose zest and passion for life inspires everyone she meets, Getrude uses her life experiences to help people achieve their full potential and find their individual life purpose.

Married and the mother of three, she claims “living in Africa prepares you to live anywhere,” and traces her earliest years in Rhodesia to her emigration to New Zealand, speaking as “the voice of a typical African woman.”  She is a director of three corporations, one of which she is the CEO.  Africa Alive Education is a   program that provides safe homes and education for children who have lost their families to AIDS.
