Taking a Bite out of Hunger
Food Drive Scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend at The Meadows CasinoWASHINGTON, PA. (May 19, 2014) - In an effort to replenish its inventory, The Greater Washington County Food Bank (GWCFB) is asking area residents to come out and drop off food donations at The Meadows Casino during Memorial Day weekend.
As part of the casino's Home & Craft Festival, representatives from the GWCFB will be collecting canned goods for needy families in the Washington County area. As a way of saying thanks, individuals who bring a donation will receive $1 in Free SlotPlaySM for each one pound of canned food donated up to $10.
Collection times are as follows:
May 23rd Friday 6pm - 9pm
May 24th Saturday 11am – 8pm
May 25th Sunday 11am – 7pm
