Hays Road, from Hays Park to the Peters Township line, will be closed starting today, Oct. 1.
A paving contractor will be widening the road.
The work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Oct. 6, or until the work is complete.

Advisory signage was posted in the area on Wednesday.
The road widening project is part of an agreement between the township and the developer of a new Hays Road subdivision, W.C. McCloskey Family, LP. They will split the cost.
