The Meadows Casino to Support Local Families with Utility Assistance
Effort to Help Local Families and Ability for Guests to Receive Slot FreePlay SM
The Meadows Casino, through its Helping Hands program, is partnering with Dollar Energy Fund to help raise funds for local families leading up to the non-profit’s annual Warmathon. The Warmathon is a fundraising effort to support the organization’s Hardship Program, which helps limited-income families maintain safe utility service with one-time grants.
From Monday, February 8 through Thursday, February 11, from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., guests can make a donation to Dollar Energy Fund at the main entrance and the south garage to the casino. Guests making a $10 donation will receive $10 in Slot FreePlay SM (maximum one Slot FreePlay SM of $10 per person) and all donors will be placed in a drawing for an autographed jersey from a Pittsburgh Penguins player. For complete promotion details, guests can visit the casino’s Players Club.
“We are delighted to have The Meadows and its guests help local families stay warm this winter,” said Chad Quinn, chief executive officer of Dollar Energy Fund. “The support we receive will make a big difference for those who are struggling to afford heat-related utility costs or face a termination of services.”
