New Chief of Police in Upper St. Clair
The new chief replaces the retired Ronald Pardini.

Douglas Burkholder can remove the word "acting" from his title.
AfterΒ serving as the acting police chief ofΒ UpperΒ St. Clair TownshipΒ since May 1, Burkholder swore in as the newest township police chief atΒ the Upper St. Clair Board of Commissioners' most recentΒ meeting, according to a report in The Almanac.
The 60-year-oldΒ Burkholder was the township's deputy police chief under former ChiefΒ Ronald Pardini, but Pardini retired onΒ April 30.
Burkholder joined the Upper St. Clair Police Department in 1976, according to The Almanac.
