New Synthetic Ice Hockey Center Opening Saturday in Upper St. Clair

An International Hockey College training center, complete with synthetic ice surfaces, is opening in Upper St. Clair Township on Saturday, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Located inside of the St. Clair Fitness and Racquetball Club along McLaughlin Run Road, the center will have a synthetic speed ramp and 20-foot-by-40-foot synthetic rink.

The center's grand opening is scheduled for noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The address is 1341 McLaughlin Run Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241 (on the Bridgeville Borough border).

The opening will feature tours, demonstrations and refreshments, according to the newspaper.
