Opportunity for Upper St. Clair Man to Avoid Theft, Paraphernalia Charges

Upper St. Clair Man Charged

After multiple retail theft charges, an Upper St. Clair Township man has completed 25 hours of community service and has until Monday to pay restitution in order for the local magistrate to accept a guilty plea for disorderly conduct, according to court documents.


Upper St. Clair police charged Kevin Michael Underwood, 21, of Fox Run Circle, with two counts of retail theft from the South Hills Village Target, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, this past June.

In addition, Bethel Park police charged Underwood with one count of retail theft from the Barnes & Noble Booksellers at South Hills Village this past April.

Underwood is accused of taking more than $600 worth of DVDs and video games and more than $300 worth of electronic storage devices from Target, and nearly $500 worth of DVDs from Barnes & Noble.

Bethel Park Man Pleads Guilty

Vincent M. Mamone, 47, of Churchill Road in Bethel Park, submitted drug and alcohol evaluation results, paid restitution and pleaded guilty to a summary retail theft charge before Judge Eugene L. Zielmanski on Monday, according to court documents.

Mamone was accused of stealing shoes, socks and jeans worth a combined $116 from the South Hills Village Sears this past January.
