Poverty Bible Study

Christian faith invites believers to become agents of God’s compassion and healing in a wounded world. During this study of Poverty, edited by Jack Keller Jr., connections between Scripture, church tradition, compassion for the poor, social outreach and social justice will engage the attendee to a deepening understanding of the realities of poverty. All are invited. Sponsored by the United Methodist Women. The final class will conclude with lunch. Chris Morgan, leader. Thursdays, October 24-November 14.
