Pittsburgh Penguins fans give Sidney Crosby a loud and enthusiastic welcome back.

He's baaaack!

And he didn't disappoint.

Sidney Crosby returned to the Pittsburgh Penguins lineup Monday night after a Jan. 1 concussion kept him off the bench for 61 games.

The atmosphere inside CONSOL Energy Center was absolutely electric as Crosby took the ice. Fans were on their feet holding "Welcome Back Sid" signs and cheering at the top of their lungs.

Just five minutes into the game, Crosby reminded hockey fans what they had been missing—he scored the first goal of the game.

He finished with two goals and two assists. The Penguins defeated the New York Islanders, 5-0.

Crosby and the Pens will play again on Wednesday, Nov. 23—hosting the St. Louis Blues.
