Sprinkler System Quickly Extinguishes Restaurant Fire

The cause of the fire in a storage area of the South Hills Village Red Robin is under investigation.

The Allegheny County fire marshal is investigating the cause of a small fire in an attic storage area of the Red Robin Restaurant at South Hills Village Mall.

The fire started sometime after the restaurant closed Monday night.

The building’s sprinkler system quickly extinguished the flames.

A member of the Bethel Park volunteer fire department said damage was minimal and no one was hurt.
