Upper St. Clair Commencement: 5 Things You Need To Know
It's almost time for seniors to say goodbye to high school. Here's what you should know to ensure the ceremony goes smoothly.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - Parents of Upper St. Clair High School seniors probably have a difficult time believing it, but it’s almost time for their kids to graduate. Here are five things to know about what is certain to be a memorable experience for all involved:
The baccalaureate and commencement ceremonies will be held June 7.
Baccalaureate, which is mandatory for graduating seniors, begins at 5:30 p.m. in the theater. Commencement follows at 7 p.m. in the stadium, weather permitting.
Although every attempt will be made to hold the commencement ceremony at the stadium, this is Pittsburgh. The weather isn’t always great. If inclement conditions occur, commencement will occur in the high school gymnasium and seating will be limited.

Each student will receive four unique barcoded tickets for access to the gym if the ceremony has to be held there. Tickets will be delivered electronically to the senior’s @uscstudents.org email account no later than June 1. If the ceremony is moved to the gym spectators will enter the school via the theater entrance.
Additional seating will be available in the high school large group instruction (LGI) room, nutrition center and theatre, where friends and family can watch a live video feed of the ceremony. The theatre and LGI will be an option whether graduation is held inside or outside.
The commencement ceremony will also be televised on Verizon channel 41, throughout the community on Comcast channel 19, and live streamed online at http://uscsd.org/graduation2018.
