Upper St. Clair Hosting National Teachers Traning Session

Upper St. Clair teachers will work collaboratively with hundreds of other educators from across the country.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - Hundreds of teachers from across the country will pack Upper St. Clair High School Wednesday to launch a three-day Professional Learning Communities At Work Institute training session.

Professional learning communities provide an environment for educators to work collaboratively to become better at their jobs via occupation-embedded learning. The training sessions were developed by Solution Tree, an Indiana company that provides comprehensive professional development to schools and districts worldwide.

Within a professional learning community, teachers meet regularly by grade level, team and/or discipline to discuss student needs, share expertise and share ideas on how to improve student learning.
