UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - Sean Bryson is coming home. Bryson, a first sergeant with the Arlington County Police Department in Virginia and an Upper St. Clair High School graduate, has been named the district’s new chief of school police. He will succeed Joe Connors, who is retiring next month.

Bryson currently supervises and trains a staff of 23. He also has experience as a school resource officer and has worked as a detective in vice-narcotics, homicide-robbery, special victims and auto theft units.

“Sean is a great addition to our school safety and security team,” superintendent Patrick O’Toole said in a release. “His experience and training in law enforcement coupled with his strong ties to the Upper St. Clair community will be helpful as we continuously assess and enhance our school safety practices and procedures.”
