Upper St. Clair Police Officer Involved in Accident
Upper St. Clair official said police officer crashed vehicle while responding to a call early Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday morning before 1:30 a.m., an Upper St. Clair police SUV was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Bower Hill Road.
Township manager Matthew Serakowski said the on-duty officer was responding to a call when the vehicle slid on black ice and crashed. The officer was transported to a hospital to get checked out.
The Ghelarducci Burt L. Jr. & Sons tow truck driver who towed the police vehicle said the SUV sustained front end damage on the passenger side.
