Upper St. Clair School District Advances $16 Million Improvement Plan
The district has hired a construction manager for the projects. Construction is expected to start next spring.

UPPER ST. CLAIR, PA - The Upper St. Clair School District is moving forward with its ambitious $16 million capital improvements plan, hiring P.J. Dick as construction manager for the various upcoming projects.
Dick will be paid $421,000 to work with McLean Architects to develop and review construction documents and bidding specifications, review bids and provide daily on-site supervision of the projects. Dick previously served as as project manager for renovation projects at Boyce and Fort Couch middle schools and Upper St. Clair High School.
The district plans to build an eight-lane pool at the high school; construct a high school stadium multi-use complex and add a new structure to the Boyce Athletic Field facilities. The district also will remove a pedestrian bridge at the high school and repave the high school parking lot.

Construction is slated to begin next spring and be completed by the start of the 2019-20 school year. To pay for the projects, the district plans a 0.15-mill tax hike next year and a 0.16-mill tax hike in 2019-20.
