Upper St. Clair Sophomore, Bailey Fialkovich, headed to Europe to play softball
Upper St. Clair Sports

Bailey Fialkovich, a sophomore at Upper St. Clair (USC) High School, has been selected to represent the United States in January 2016 at The Cup – Netherlands fastpitch softball tournament. The North American Select Team (NAST) prides themselves on representing our continent with great athletes as well as great people. There are no tryouts for this program and only 50 athletes are selected from across the continent who have a dream of playing internationally. The girls selected for this team are selected based on two criteria:
1. They have to be GREAT girls...outside of the lines of ball. The program is very, very selective on whom they take and generally do some follow up – normally not on the ability of the athlete but on her social skills, ability to get along with people, personality, etc.!
2). They’ve got to be able to play the game!
